In Switzerland LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND is providing financial support for the “Pestalozzi“ Children's Foundation in Trogen (Appenzell), which offers disadvantaged children and teens access to educational opportunities and promotes a peaceful intercultural social life. Although the foundation operates globally, the Children's Village in Trogen, where all activities in Switzerland as well as development cooperation originate, is the real heart of the foundation.

In search of their identity, the children and teens live in the “Pestalozzi“ Children's Village for a set period of time, which provides them with the necessary secure atmosphere in order to help them slowly grow into family-like structures without denying their own background.
