“I wish I could fly a baloon!“

In Sweden the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND supports the MyBigDay Foundation that was founded May 2000 by Mrs Claire Rosvall and helps severly sick children to make their wishes come true. Every year hundreds of children are diagnosed with life-threatening diseases. “MyBigDay“ works for to give these children something to dreamabout when days are long and treatments are hard on their small bodies.

In a childs imagination, anything can happen. To sing-a-long with their favourite popstar, to swim with dolphins, meet their favourite football-player, to go on vacation with their family or to invite friends to their birthday-party are all examples on wishes that have come true during the last years through the activities of “MyBigDay“.

During 2010, 500 project were held for kids at hospitals around Sweden. In addition to this, 185 “BigDays“ were realized along with groupactivities as concerts, cafés at hospitals, youth camps - enabling more than 1500 children to get a well deserved break from hospital treatment.

The goal and wish of “MyBigDay“ and the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND is that one day be able to make every sick child in Sweden happy.
