As a result of infantile brain damage, the patients suffer from what is called cerebral palsy. The brain palsy causes disorders in the nervous and muscular systems, which lead to the fact that one cannot specifically coordinate one’s movements. This kind of disability can usually only be treated conservatively by occupational and physical therapy.

The LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND Greece supports the organization "Together for Children", which campaigns strongly for children with disabilities.
The “Chatzipaterio” project is especially close to our heart. At a rehabilitation centre for children with spasticity, the young patients are treated by special therapists. Every day, children aged from 2 - 9 years take part in a treatment programme adapted to their needs, to prepare them for school integration.

In addition, the parents are also supported by the organization: Just recently, the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND Greece donated a specially adapted transporter to the "Chatzipaterio" to ensure the regular transportation of children to the treatment centre.
