The "Clinic Clowns" have been on their way cheering up sick children and distracting them from their boredom in many Belgium hospitals since 1994. The team currently consists of 16 clowns who, with their skits and magic tricks, make both young people and young children laugh every day of the week in children’s wards.

The hospitals can barely go without the professional clowns, for not only do they spread good moods among both young and old, but in a humorous manner, they also take away the young patients’ fear of the surgery, the injections and, especially, of the illness itself. Incidentally, it has been proven that exactly this type of therapy contributes to a patient’s faster recovery: he who laughs a lot and is less afraid, gets healthy quicker.

For this reason, the LR GLOBAL KIDS FUND in Belgium provides financial support to the "Clinic-clowns" so that they can continue to conjure up a smile on children’s faces.
